At
Excellerate Solutions, Dave, Bill and I live our lives on purpose by
igniting people's passions so they may more deeply engage in their
daily lives - both personally and professionally. This of
course results in higher productivity, innovation, creativity, initiative
and effective collaboration for the individual and their
organization.
As we continue
to expand our service offering,
the three of us are now certified
facilitators of a truly exciting and innovative on-line
assessment tool entitled, The Passion Profiler, developed by Alaina
Love and Marc Cugnon of Purpose Linked Consulting. The Passion Profiler assesses
and identifies an individual's life and work-related passions. Life
passions are the outward manifestation of the deeper inner purpose
which drives that individual.
Our decision to incorporate
the Passion Profiler into our cadre of services was an easy
one. Each of us took the online assessment
and individually participated in a 90 minute
coaching session that included an in depth review of the 26 page
report that taught us about our innate passions and how to apply them
to our business and our life. We were thunderstruck at its
accuracy and the insight it provided.
We found
ourselves resonating with the "archetype cluster" comprised
of our top 3 passions that is
unique to us as individuals. Reading through each other's
reports, we agreed that they were spot on. We felt a renewed
sense of excitement as we discovered that our passions are completely
in alignment with our mission at Excellerate Solutions.
I realized we
were really on to something important for our clients. Now we
could offer a comprehensive analysis and debrief that:
- Gives
direct, lasting information about the passions that are
intrinsic to who they are and a direction to live out their
life's purpose;
- Better
assists in determining the "why" behind what's working
for our clients in their career and where they may want to
create change;
- Provides
comprehensive insight to leaders who want to assemble powerful,
effective, collaborative teams within their organization and
give direction with regard to talent development;
- Assesses
how one's passions contribute to the organization's knowledge
cycle - driving growth and innovation.
I personally
chuckled over and over again as my career unfolded before me during
my Passion Profiler coaching session, only now with a new
perspective. I have been engaging in my particular combination
of passions my entire life. Now I have a new way of recognizing
when they are at play within myself; tugging me in a certain
direction, steering me to new challenges or pointing me away from
experiences that will hold little to no joy, energy or excitement for
me.
Oh! And
those "chores" that feel draining? I still do them,
only now, recognizing that I am skilled, not passionate about them. I
do them more strategically in my day or my work week.
Result? Less energy drain by
far. Or, I solicit help from others who are really passionate
about those activities. A win, win for everyone!

I
am a Transformer: I have a gift for
change. I identify and embrace possibilities for improvements
in individuals, business, the environment and myself.
I
am a Teacher: I share and
disseminate new information and ways of viewing the world. I
create the foundation of wisdom, an essential component for
individuals and organizations in pursuit of effective change.
I
am a Healer: I provide a safe place for
individuals to share their feelings, dreams, and challenges. I
sense their discomfort associated with change and help them navigate
it with less distress, more safety and deeper growth and
learning. I passionately distill information to get to the root
of any issue.
